Yemeni forces target US navy warship in the Gulf of Aden
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, revealed that Yemen successfully targeted the US Navy warship Lewis B Puller sailing through the Gulf of Aden.
The incident took place in the evening, and Saree emphasized that the warship was engaged in providing logistical support for US forces involved in the aggression against Yemen.
"The operation is part of the military measures taken by the Yemeni Armed Forces in defense of the Yemeni people and as part of the commitment to support the oppressed Palestinian people," added Saree.
In his concluding remarks, Saree reiterated the Yemeni Armed Forces' commitment to enforcing a blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza, and the siege on the people of Gaza is lifted.
On a related note, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansar Allah movement's political bureau, expressed concerns that the presence of American and British forces on Yemeni soil could provoke the entire Yemeni population, leading to unified opposition against the aggression. (ILKHA)
