Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to embark on official visits to Albania, Bulgaria, and Romania
Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Foreign Minister, will embark on a three-day official visit to Albania, Bulgaria, and Romania from January 28-31, 2024, as announced by the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a press statement.
The ministry highlighted that the meetings would cover discussions on bilateral relations, along with addressing current regional and global developments.
Beyond government-to-government talks, Minister Fidan plans to meet with Turkish businesspeople and representatives of Turkish communities residing in each country.
This outreach underscores the importance Türkiye places on its diaspora relations and the valuable contributions of its citizens abroad.
Fidan's visit comes at a crucial time for the region, marked by ongoing geopolitical tensions and a renewed focus on diplomatic engagement.
Strengthening ties with Albania, Bulgaria, and Romania aligns with Türkiye's broader foreign policy strategy of fostering stronger partnerships in Southeast Europe. (ILKHA)
