During the meeting, it was disclosed that the Islamic Emirate has received an invitation to participate in a crucial meeting on the Afghan situation scheduled to take place in Doha.

The meeting covered various political issues, with a particular focus on girls' education. Klouman expressed the global community's ongoing concern for Afghanistan, revealing plans for a significant meeting next month dedicated to the Afghan situation. He urged the Islamic Emirate to ensure education and employment opportunities for girls and women.

In response, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir clarified that the Islamic Emirate supports girls' education, emphasizing that a dedicated committee, appointed by the Islamic Emirate's leader, is actively addressing this matter. He confirmed the participation of an Islamic Emirate representative in the upcoming meeting, while also calling on European countries to reopen their embassies in Kabul.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir asserted the Islamic Emirate's commitment to not allowing Afghan soil to be used for threatening other nations, expressing a desire for positive relations with all countries.

The upcoming meeting in Doha, which brings together special envoys from various nations for the second time, is seen as a crucial step toward addressing Afghanistan's challenges. Political analysts believe that the presence of an Islamic Emirate representative could contribute to finding solutions.

Hassan Haqyar, head of the press office of the deputy prime minister for political affairs, noted the Norwegian ambassador's interest in fostering improved relations between the Islamic Emirate and the international community. Analyst Aziz Maarij emphasized the importance of turning negotiations to the benefit of Afghanistan and urged a focus on the country's interests in the evolving diplomatic landscape.

Following a similar meeting in February 2023, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed a special coordinator to assess the situation in Afghanistan, highlighting the ongoing international efforts to address the country's challenges. (ILKHA)
