5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Türkiye; no immediate damage reported

The quake, which occurred at around 4:04 pm local time (1:04 pm GMT), had its epicenter located at 38.19917 degrees north latitude and 38.46 degrees east longitude, at a depth of approximately 13.93 kilometers.

Tremors were felt in neighboring provinces including Adıyaman, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, and Diyarbakır, according to local reports. Despite the widespread sensation, authorities have not yet received any reports of injuries or major structural damage.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) is currently monitoring the situation and assessing potential impacts. While initial reports are positive, residents have been advised to remain vigilant and follow any official instructions in case of aftershocks.
