Turkish C-160 aircraft makes emergency landing after in-flight technical problem
A Turkish C-160 military aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at its base in Kayseri on Thursday morning after experiencing a technical malfunction during a training flight.
The C-160, belonging to the 12th Command of the Main Air Transport Base, departed for a routine training exercise when the technical issue arose.
Despite the problem, the pilot successfully performed an emergency landing back at the base.
Although damage to the aircraft was reported, the Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the pilot and crew are safe and sound.
The incident, including the plane's low-altitude flight prior to landing, was captured on camera by a bystander. (ILKHA)
