Indian passenger plane crashes in northern Afghanistan's Badakhshan province
An Indian passenger plane crashed in the mountainous northeastern region of Afghanistan, in the Badakhshan province on Sunday.
The exact site of the accident is unknown, but local sources report that the plane crashed in the Topkhana area of Kuran-wa-Munjan district.
Zabihullah Amiri, an official of the provincial Department of Information and Culture, confirmed that a team has been sent to the crash site.
