UNRWA: Gaza war marks largest Palestinian displacement since 1948
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) declared that the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip has led to the "largest displacement of the Palestinian people since 1948."
As the israeli aggression on Gaza reaches its 120th day, UNRWA highlighted the dire conditions Palestinians are enduring, stating that they are living "through the unliveable."
"100 days in 100 seconds. This has been the largest displacement of the Palestinian people since 1948," UNRWA conveyed on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
The agency expressed deep concern over the impact on an entire generation of traumatized children, with thousands killed, maimed, and orphaned. The grim reality of people enduring the unlivable conditions in Gaza remains a pressing humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
