The demonstration, held in Gülistan Street, gathered a significant crowd, including HÜDA PAR Batman Provincial Chairman Davut Şahin, NGO representatives, scholars, women, and children.

Under the theme "Urgent Ceasefire for Gaza," participants passionately raised their voices, unfurled banners, and expressed unwavering condemnation for the brutal assaults perpetrated by the occupation regime against the innocent residents of Gaza. Kenan Çaplık, Vice President of the Prophet Lovers Foundation, delivered an impassioned speech, articulating the collective anguish over Gaza's current state, which he described as "crying blood."

Çaplık, addressing the global community, fervently urged leaders worldwide to take decisive action against the ongoing atrocities. "Stop the zionist murderers, and we demand an immediate ceasefire," he declared, echoing the sentiments of those gathered in Gülistan Street. Çaplık emphasized the critical need for international intervention to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza.

Muhammad Mirza Ergin, representing various NGOs, conveyed a comprehensive press statement outlining the harrowing impact of the attacks. He provided staggering statistics, stating that over 23,000 people, including more than 10,000 children and 7,000 women, have tragically lost their lives due to the relentless assault on Gaza. The humanitarian crisis extends further, with more than 60,000 people injured, 8,000 missing, and 359,000 homes damaged or destroyed.

Ergin pointedly called on leaders of Muslim countries to take immediate and concrete actions to address the crisis. He specifically urged the opening of the Rafah Border Gate to facilitate the passage of vital supplies and ensure the treatment of the seriously wounded. Additionally, he advocated for the complete cessation of trade with the terrorist network, a collective boycott of Israel, and the imposition of sanctions on israeli companies.

The demonstration, part of a broader series of activities across Türkiye and the world, aimed to denounce the ongoing Zionist atrocities, demand urgent humanitarian aid, advocate for a permanent ceasefire, and apply international pressure on governments to intervene and bring an end to the suffering in Gaza.

The event concluded with a heartfelt prayer, symbolizing the collective plea for peace and justice in the region. (ILKHA)
