Saree emphasized that this hostile act will not deter Yemen from enforcing a blockade on israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea.

In a press statement, Brigadier General Saree condemned the aggression, attributing it to the American and British support for Israeli actions in Gaza. The overnight attacks included seventy-three airstrikes targeting multiple regions, including the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Saada. Saree reported casualties within the Yemeni armed forces, with five individuals martyred and six others injured.

"The American and British enemies bear full responsibility for their criminal aggression against the Yemeni people, and it will not slide without retaliation and punishment," declared Saree. He asserted that the Yemeni Armed Forces are prepared to target any sources of threat and hostile entities on land and sea, emphasizing their commitment to defending Yemen's sovereignty and independence.

Despite the heinous aggression, Saree underlined Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian people's struggle for liberation. The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to preventing Israeli-linked ships from navigating the Arabian and Red Seas en route to the ports of occupied Palestine.

The US-UK aggression against Yemen, which targeted over 60 sites and utilized more than 100 precision-guided munitions, drew condemnation from various regional countries and parties. The international community closely watches the developments in the region as tensions escalate in the aftermath of the overnight attacks. (ILKHA)
