Orphans Foundation calls for increased charity and kindness during holy months
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı), a charitable organization dedicated to aiding orphans and vulnerable children, issued a message of hope and action on the occasion of the beginning of the holy months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan.
Emphasizing the spiritual significance of the period, the foundation urged Muslims to "make a start for good deeds" by maximizing their efforts in charity, compassion, and acts of service. The message highlighted the importance of these months as opportunities for asking forgiveness, blessings, and salvation, and encouraged Muslims to extend their generosity and care to those in need, including orphans, vulnerable children, and victims of oppression.
Specifically mentioning the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the foundation expressed hope that the holy months would bring an end to the suffering and pave the way for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem, and Gaza.
Concluding with a prayer for unity and liberation, the Orphans Foundation's message appealed to Muslims worldwide to use this sacred time to strengthen their faith, deepen their commitment to good deeds, and work towards a more just and compassionate world. (ILKHA)
