Palestinian death toll rises to 23,357 in ongoing israeli genocide in Gaza
The Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip has reported a significant increase in the Palestinian death toll, reaching 23,357 since the commencement of the Israeli offensive on October 7.
Additionally, the ministry stated that 59,410 individuals have been injured in the relentless onslaught.
Over the past 24 hours, israeli attacks have resulted in the death of at least 147 people, with 243 others sustaining injuries, according to the ministry.
The situation is compounded by the challenge of reaching individuals trapped under rubble and on roads due to ongoing rescue efforts.
The conflict escalated following a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas in October, resulting in approximately 1,200 believed israeli casualties. About 85% of Gaza's population has been displaced, facing food insecurity, and hundreds of thousands are without proper shelter.
The United Nations notes a significant reduction in aid trucks entering the territory, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
