Turkish Foreign Minister conveys sympathies to Iran following Kerman deadly attack
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recently had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdullahiyan, expressing condolences for the victims of the deadly attack in Kerman, Iran.
The two ministers also discussed the previously planned visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi to Türkiye, which was postponed due to the tragic incident.
Both sides expressed their commitment to rescheduling the visit at a mutually convenient time in the future, once the country has adequately processed the aftermath of the attack.
The phone call served as an opportunity for Fidan and Abdullahiyan to reaffirm the strong relationship between Türkiye and Iran, underscoring their shared interests in regional stability and cooperation.
