Saleh Al-Arouri laid to rest following assassination in Beirut
The deputy head of Hamas's Political Bureau, Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, who was martyred in an Israeli aggression on Tuesday, has been laid to rest in the Sabra and Shatila Martyrs' Cemetery.
Al-Arouri's funeral procession was joined by the processions of other martyrs, including Azzam al-Aqra' and Mohammad al-Rayyes.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh mourned Al-Arouri's martyrdom, denouncing the Israeli occupation's assassination as a "cowardly act" and a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty. Haniyeh emphasized that the crime committed by Israel would not go unanswered.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, addressing the assassination in a speech, deemed it a "flagrant, dangerous crime" constituting an act of aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut. Nasrallah stressed that Al-Arouri's assassination would not go without a response. (ILKHA)
