According to local sources, at least 20 people were killed and dozens more wounded on Thursday, when israeli warplanes and artillery targeted several areas in the besieged enclave, including a house for the Salah family, housing displaced people, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The sources also reported that many people were still missing under the rubble of the destroyed homes in Al-Maghazi camp and Al-Masdar village in the central Gaza Strip, and Al-Zawaida area, which witnessed violent artillery and air strikes.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression, which started on October 7, 2023, has risen to more than 22,300, including at least 9,600 children and 6,750 women, in addition to 7,000 missing persons, and more than 57,200 wounded, according to the sources.

The Israeli attacks have also caused massive destruction of infrastructure, buildings, schools, hospitals, and power and water networks, leaving the population of nearly two million people in dire need of humanitarian aid and basic services.

The international community has condemned the israeli violations of international law and human rights, and called for an immediate cessation of the genocide.

The Palestinian resistance factions have vowed to continue their struggle against the israeli occupation and oppression, and have fired hundreds of rockets and missiles into israel, causing casualties and damage. They have also expressed their readiness to accept a ceasefire based on mutual respect and recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
