The Palestinian resistance, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, has been engaged in intense battles against the Israeli occupation army for the past 83 days in various areas across Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation disclosed the concerning increase in suicide rates, prompting the Forum of Directors of Psychiatric Hospitals to advocate for the declaration of a state of emergency due to the escalating rates of suicide and mental illness among israelis. This trend follows a series of suicide incidents among Jewish settlers since October 7, marking the aftermath of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and the prevalent illnesses among Israeli occupation soldiers returning from Gaza.

Describing the situation as catastrophic, the Forum of Directors of Psychiatric Hospitals emphasized the urgent need to declare a state of emergency. It conveyed a message highlighting the surge in mental illness rates and a consequential rise in suicide cases, noting that the treatment in israeli hospitals is being carried out in an inhumane manner.

As part of the psychological warfare waged by the Palestinian resistance against Israel, the Al-Qassam Brigades published a poignant message on the ninth birthday of "Shaul Aron," a soldier held by the resistance for nine years. Aron was captured during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in mid-2014. The visual message from Al-Qassam showcased scenes from Aron's father's funeral, images of his mother holding his photos, and messages written in Arabic, Hebrew, and English. The messages included expressions such as "Shaul… Happy Birthday in captivity" and "To the families of the prisoners, your suffering has not yet begun." (ILKHA)
