Expressing hopes for a prosperous year for the Islamic ummah in 2024, Çaplık provided essential guidance and warnings to the Muslim community. He emphasized the significance of avoiding behaviors contradictory to Islamic principles during the transition into the new year.

Çaplık acknowledged the celebration of the New Year by Christians and highlighted the religious significance they attach to the day, known as 'Christmas.' However, he underlined that Islam strictly prohibits Muslims from participating in 'Christmas' celebrations and imitating Christians and Jews.

"We Muslims should not enter the new year with sin and haram," Çaplık stated, urging a self-assessment of the past year and the formulation of plans for personal and communal improvement. He emphasized the need to strive for a life aligned with Allah's consent, benefitting humanity, and addressing all dimensions of life.

Reflecting on the challenges faced by the Islamic Ummah in the preceding year, Çaplık mentioned invasions, persecutions, and massacres that left a deep impact. He specifically highlighted the tragic events in Gaza, condemning the brutal massacres carried out by Western-supported Zionists.

Calling for unity among Muslims, Çaplık stressed the urgency of collective action to protect the dignity and honor of the Islamic Ummah. He urged Muslims to overcome internal disputes, unite against common threats, and support leaders who share their beliefs.

As the new year begins, Çaplık expressed a wish for positive actions and called on the Muslim community to strive for a better future. He concluded by expressing hope for the liberation of Jerusalem and seeking divine intervention for the challenges faced by Muslims worldwide. (ILKHA)
