The main hospitals in the region are reportedly out of service, leaving only three smaller facilities that are ill-equipped to handle the influx of injured individuals.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra stated that the remaining hospitals are small and incapable of adequately accommodating a large number of injured people. As a result, those seeking medical attention are being treated on the floor, with many forced to wait for extended periods until a doctor can assess their health.

Al-Qudra further noted that a significant number of individuals injured in Israeli attacks have been rushed to hospitals, exacerbating the strain on the already overwhelmed healthcare system.

The zionist army resumed its intense bombardment of the Gaza Strip early on Friday, following the conclusion of a humanitarian pause. The renewed attacks have resulted in hundreds of casualties among Palestinians. According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, at least 178 Palestinians have been killed, and numerous others have sustained injuries in the latest wave of strikes by Israeli forces.

As the situation in Gaza worsens, international concerns are growing over the impact of the conflict on civilian populations and the strained capacity of the healthcare system to provide adequate medical care. The escalating violence raises urgent calls for a cessation of hostilities and renewed efforts toward a peaceful resolution in the region. (ILKHA)
