Turkish President Erdogan hosts Vietnamese Prime Minister Chinh in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in the capital of Ankara on Wednesday, marking a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

The leaders engaged in a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Complex, addressing various bilateral and international matters, as stated by the Turkish Presidency in an official statement.
Furthermore, Ankara announced its intention to establish a consulate general in Ho Chi Minh City, the economic hub of Vietnam, in a move aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering economic cooperation. Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz confirmed this development after holding discussions with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh earlier in the day.
The visit by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh holds historical significance, being the first of its kind at the prime ministerial level. This occasion marks the 46th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Turkey, highlighting the commitment to further enhancing cooperation and understanding between the two nations.
