Hamas: Israeli military bombed the music festival in Negev
Senior Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, held a news conference in Beirut on Sunday evening, accusing the zionist occupation army of deliberately bombing numerous homes in the Gaza Strip under the suspicion of harboring israeli captives.
During the conference, Hamdan asserted that the zionistzı army intentionally targeted the music festival in the Negev desert on October 7, attended by 4,000 Israelis and foreigners. He claimed that Israel fabricated information about the incident, urging countries aligning with the israeli narrative to reconsider their positions on Gaza to avoid complicity in what he referred to as Israeli war crimes.
Addressing the issue of prisoners, Hamdan accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of obstructing efforts to reach an agreement regarding the release of captives. He emphasized that Israeli military announcements about finding holes do not substantiate their allegations.
In a broader call, Hamdan urged Arab and Islamic countries to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. Additionally, he called on the United Nations, the Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take steps toward prosecuting Israeli war criminals.
The statements from the Hamas official highlight escalating tensions in the region and ongoing challenges in diplomatic efforts. Further developments on these issues will be monitored and reported as they unfold. (ILKHA)
