Hamas says israel killed 7 hostages in Gaza camp raid
Hamas said on Wednesday that seven of its captives, including three foreign nationals, were killed by zionist occupation forces in a raid on a refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
The militant group's military wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, issued a statement saying that "seven detainees were killed in the Jabalia massacre yesterday, including three holders of foreign passports". It did not provide any details or evidence to support its claim, which could not be independently verified.
The zionist occupation regime has launched thousands of airstrikes and ground operations in Gaza since October, aiming to stop rocket fire and destroy Hamas tunnels.
The Hamas health ministry said that more than 8,500 Palestinians had been killed in the israeli offensive, two-thirds of them women and children.
The Jabalia camp is one of the most densely populated areas in Gaza, home to more than 100,000 refugees. (ILKHA)
