Zionist regime strikes Syrian military sites in Daraa
Zionist occupation forces launched airstrikes on two Syrian military sites in the southern province of Daraa early on Monday, causing material damage but no casualties, according to a Syrian military source.
The source, quoted by the state-run SANA news agency, said that the israeli warplanes fired missiles from the direction of the occupied Golan Heights, targeting two sites of the Syrian army in the towns of Saida and Nawa.
The source added that the Syrian air defenses intercepted some of the missiles and downed them before they reached their targets.
The zionist military did not comment on the reported attack, which was the latest in a series of Israeli strikes on Syria in recent months.
Syria, which has been mired in a civil war since 2011, has accused israel of violating its sovereignty and supporting the rebel groups that seek to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad. (ILKHA)
