Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza comes under israeli fire, placing thousands at risk
Al-Quds Hospital, situated in the northern region of the Gaza Strip, became the focal point of conflict as it was reportedly hit by multiple rounds of shelling, according to local sources.
Initial reports suggested that an adjacent building suffered damage due to the assault.
Palestine's interior ministry, through its Telegram channel, confirmed that "israeli forces conducted a strike near Al-Quds Hospital."
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society had previously stated that zionist authorities issued an evacuation order for the hospital.
However, a spokesperson for the society emphasized on Monday that evacuation was not feasible as the hospital currently shelters approximately 12,000 displaced individuals alongside more than 400 patients.
The situation remains critical as the ongoing conflict intensifies in the region, putting the lives of thousands at risk within the hospital's premises. (ILKHA)
