Türkiye sends aid packages to Gaza amid humanitarian crisis
The Turkish Ministry of Defense has announced its ongoing efforts to provide assistance to the beleaguered Gaza Strip, with a focus on delivering essential health supplies.
“We continue to extend a helping hand from our nation to Gaza. Under the guidance of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we have initiated the loading of aid packages, primarily consisting of health supplies. These vital supplies are set to be transported on our Air Force planes. Once the preparations are complete, the planes will take off for Egypt. A total of four flights have been scheduled to ensure the prompt delivery of aid to the region,” the ministry said in a statement on social media platform X.
Türkiye's commitment to providing aid to Gaza aligns with international efforts to address the escalating humanitarian crisis in the area, particularly the critical need for medical resources and supplies.
