In televised remarks on Sunday, Mishaal urged the Arab and Muslim nations and the world’s free people to make political efforts in support of Jerusalem, the Aqsa Mosque and Gaza.

Mishaal expressed his confidence that the Palestinian resistance, which withstood previous wars on Gaza, would achieve another victory against the enemy.

The Hamas leader accused the US administration and some Western countries of giving the Israeli occupation government the green light to carry out a scorched-earth bombing campaign against Gaza and displace its population.

“America today is leading the battle and planning to achieve its goals by crushing Hamas and dismantling its Gazan popular incubator,” Mishaal said.

“Gaza, which suffers today from destruction, starvation and displacement attempts, is engaged in a global battle with the Israeli entity that is backed by America and Western powers,” he added. (ILKHA)
