The event aimed to support the “Operation Aqsa Flood” initiated by HAMAS on October 7 and condemn the airstrikes launched by the zionist regime against Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Hundreds of participants, including party members, volunteers, and citizens, gathered at the Fatih Mosque following the afternoon prayer. They carried Palestinian and Tawheed flags, chanting slogans in support of HAMAS and resistance, while also expressing their opposition to the zionist occupation regime and its collaborators. The march led the participants to Saraçhane Park.

Speaking at the event's commencement in Saraçhane Park, HÜDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Chairman İsa Güvendik addressed the crowd, stating: “We all bear the pain of Jerusalem in our hearts. We all mourn for Al-Aqsa Mosque. For 75 years, the oppression has continued, and we are here to put an end to it. The martyrs in Jerusalem represent the entire Muslim Ummah. Our presence here is not in vain. We stand in solidarity with Gaza, Jerusalem, and Palestine because they are all part of our collective heritage. Gaza is ours; Palestine is ours; Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to the entire Ummah.”

HÜDA PAR Vice President and party spokesperson Yunus Emiroğlu also emphasized the gravity of the situation, acknowledging that they were facing a significant responsibility. “For days, since the morning of October 7, we have been actively engaged in supporting this cause worldwide. Our eyes are not resting, and our hearts are heavy. Our focus is on Gaza, as well as the actions and words of Islamic leaders. It is our duty to contribute, and we are committed to fulfilling that responsibility,” Emiroğlu declared.

Emiroğlu highlighted the significance of Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing it as a place deeply rooted in the history of the Muslim faith. He asserted: “Al-Aqsa Mosque is a sacred place for all Muslims, and it holds a special place in our hearts. It is a link between heaven and earth. We will not compromise on its sanctity.”

“This is not just a territorial issue. The cause of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem is not merely about sovereignty; it is a matter of faith. It represents a battle between right and wrong, between oppressors and the oppressed,” he continued.

Emiroğlu stressed the ongoing occupation and the daily suffering of Palestinian Muslims. He lamented the targeting of civilians, including children and the elderly, and their determination to live with freedom. Despite a 17-year blockade on Gaza, Palestinian residents have continued to resist with limited resources.

“This is a struggle of resistance against oppression, and we must stand in solidarity with it. We cannot afford to abandon our brothers and sisters. Our goal extends beyond Gaza; it is about confronting an unholy network that transcends Judaism and Christianity. Their interests and benefits are the driving forces behind their actions,” Emiroğlu concluded.

The event concluded with a press statement delivered by the head of HÜDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Youth Branch, Hayrullah Seçen, and a closing prayer by Mullah Nizamettin Yaçin. (ILKHA)
