European Orphan Hand performs life-changing cataract surgeries in Mali
In a humanitarian mission aimed at offering aid and support, European Orphan Hand has conducted cataract surgeries on nearly 200 individuals in Mali who were suffering from vision impairments due to environmental factors.
The organization, known for its charitable work, has been involved in various relief efforts in Mali over the past week.
European Orphan Hand commenced its mission by providing hot meals to young girls in an orphanage, extending food assistance to numerous families in need, and offering financial aid in the preceding days.
Following these initial activities, the organization turned its focus to addressing the urgent issue of cataracts in the region.
Serdar Şişman, Vice President of European Orphan Hand, emphasized the project's significance, stating: "Our cataract project in Mali has been a resounding success, bringing hope to those who once suffered from blurred vision."
Expressing gratitude to the generous donors who supported the organization's relief efforts in Mali, Şişman remarked: "May your charitable acts find favor with Allah. Your contributions have been instrumental in alleviating the eye discomfort and blurred vision resulting from dust and air pollution. May Allah bless your benevolence in both world and the Hereafter."
The cataract surgeries conducted by European Orphan Hand are part of their broader commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by various factors in Mali and other regions. (ILKHA)
