ITTIHADUL ULEMA urges global Muslim solidarity amidst escalating Gaza crisis
Mullah Enver Kılıçarslan, the esteemed President of ITTIHADUL ULEMA, unequivocally emphasized the vital need for unwavering support and solidarity among Muslims as the Palestinian crisis intensifies.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency during the 'Support to Aqsa Flood' rally held in Diyarbakır, Mullah Enver Kılıçarslan painted a vivid picture of the dire circumstances in Palestine, declaring: "Innocent civilians, journalists, children, and women are falling victim to brutal violence. The time for united action is now."
He condemned the atrocities of zionist occupation regime in Palestine, stating: "As it is known, children and women are being killed in Palestine. Those who kill are Zionist Jews. Allahsays in the Holy Quran in Surah Maide, talking about Christians and Jews, 'They are only friends of each other.'"
Referring to the Quranic verse Al-Imran 103, he passionately urged: "Hold fast to the rope of Allah together; do not be divided. If a Muslim is being oppressed by enemies, Christians and Jews, and Muslims do not help when they can, Allah will disgrace those Muslims who do not help on the Day of Judgment."
Expressing his profound disappointment at the lack of a united stance from the broader Islamic world, he declared: "Today, there is no voice from the Islamic world. People in Gaza cannot come out of shelters. America, with its modern weapons and all its power, Britain, France, Germany, and all Christian states are united in disbelief as the Prophet said. They support the Jews. But Muslims are not helping their Muslim brothers."
In a direct plea, Kılıçarslan called on Muslims, saying: "Today, the duty of Muslims is to pray for our Palestinian brothers and sisters day and night, with their lives if they can, with their wealth if they cannot, and with their prayers and curses against the Zionist Jews."
He highlighted the severity of the situation by referring to the Quranic curses on Jews, adding: "Allah will destroy them for their atrocities. Even the devil is not cursed this much in the Holy Quran. Allah (swt) curses the Jews in 15 places in the Holy Quran."
In a resolute vow, Kılıçarslan concluded: "Inshallah, we will support our brothers in Gaza as long as this war continues. I wish I had the opportunity to go to Palestine at my age, but we should stand with our Palestinian brothers and sisters with our support and prayers and against the Israelis with curses."
The 'Support to Aqsa Flood' rally continues to stand as a symbol of collective action, providing a platform for activists and leaders to voice their concerns and mobilize support for the oppressed. (ILKHA)
