OIC strongly condemns zionist regime's forced evacuation calls
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its vehement condemnation of israel's recent calls for the forced evacuation of residents in the northern Gaza Strip, alongside its ongoing military operations in the region.
The OIC, in its official statement, declared its "absolute rejection and condemnation of Israel, the occupying power’s calls for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, and attempts to transfer the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by the Israeli occupation to neighboring countries."
Furthermore, the organization "strongly condemned the blockade of medical, relief supplies, and basic necessities to the Gaza Strip … as collective punishment, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law."
The OIC underscored the pressing need for the international community to take immediate action to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian population. The organization expressed genuine concerns that the situation may swiftly deteriorate into a severe humanitarian crisis.
Additionally, the OIC emphasized the critical importance of establishing humanitarian corridors to facilitate the delivery of essential aid to the beleaguered Gaza Strip.
The OIC's statement adds to the growing international chorus of voices expressing deep concern over the situation in Gaza and urging steps to protect civilian lives and ensure the delivery of crucial humanitarian assistance. (ILKHA)
