The operation was conducted on Sunday at 21:00 local time, targeting key areas, including Metina, Hakurk, Kandil, and Gara regions.

The statement conveyed a resolute message: "Terrorists will not escape the end that awaits them! We have struck them in their lairs without warning one night, and we will continue to do so. This struggle will not end until there is not a single terrorist left!"

The operation aimed to neutralize PKK/KCK members, eliminate threats against Turkish citizens and security forces originating from Northern Iraq, and safeguard national border security, according to the ministry.

A total of 20 targets, comprising caves, shelters, bunkers, and warehouses utilized by the separatist terrorist organization, were successfully destroyed in the precision airstrikes. The facilities were believed to house PKK members at a responsible level within the organization.

Significantly, the Turkish Armed Forces employed domestic and national ammunition to its maximum extent during the operations, resulting in the neutralization of a considerable number of “terrorists”.

The statement underscored the commitment of the Turkish Armed Forces to continue the fight against terrorism, emphasizing the determination and resolve to ensure the survival and security of the country and its citizens. (ILKHA)
