Islamic Scholars Meeting enters second day with continued discussions
The eighth edition of Islamic Scholars Meeting, organized by ITTIHADUL ULEMA, enters its second day with continued discussions and sessions.
The annual event, gathering scholars, academics, politicians, NGO representatives, and opinion leaders from across the Islamic world, is currently underway at ITTIHAD's headquarters in Diyarbakır. This year's theme, "Guiding the Islamic Awakening," has been a focal point of the deliberations.
Yesterday marked the commencement of the meeting with introductory sessions, and today, two additional sessions are scheduled.
The first session, presided over by Dr. Hêmin Ömer Ahmed, will feature presentations on various topics. Prof. Dr. Imad Muhammad Kerîm will delve into "Tribalism, National Belonging, and the Kurdish Issue," Dr. Şemsettin Kırış will discuss "Protecting the Muslim Family as the Guarantee of Society," Dr. Yasir Hasan will present on "Gender, Intervention in Fitrah, and Dangers to Human Values," and Prof. Dr. Abdullah Tümsek will share insights on "Methods of Irshad in Religious Communication with Young People."
