The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed in a brief statement that Muhammad Jibril Rummana was martyred after sustaining serious injuries by Israeli gunfire. 

Another young man was slightly injured in the foot, the ministry added.

Hamas Movement mourned Rummana, saying that he was martyred in defense of the Palestinian people and Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian Red Crescent earlier declared that two young men were shot and injured before their arrest, saying that one of them was in critical condition.

The Red Crescent confirmed that the ZOF prevented its crews from reaching the injured.

Earlier on Friday, the ZOF detained an ex-prisoner at the Shufa military checkpoint southeast of Tulkarem and another one south of Jericho.

In Salfit, the ZOF arrested the mayor of Deir Estia town and his brother during the anti-settlement weekly protest. (ILKHA)
