The two-day conference, commencing today and concluding tomorrow, will focus on the theme of "Guiding Islamic Awakening."

This marks the eighth consecutive year of the international gathering, which has been a staple since its inception in 2015.

Distinguished Islamic scholars from various countries, including Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Afghanistan, Qatar, Lebanon, and Jordan, are expected to participate in the discussions.

The conference aims to delve into critical topics that resonate within the Islamic world. Discussions will span a wide range of issues, such as safeguarding family values, addressing racism and the Kurdish question, enhancing communication with the youth, interventions in universal human values, and the pivotal role of Islamic scholars in social matters.

Scheduled between September 30th and October 1st, the event is hosted at the ITTIHADUL ULEMA Headquarters in Diyarbakır.

The primary objective of this year's meeting is to bring together Islamic scholars, particularly from Kurdish-majority regions, to collectively explore solutions to prevailing challenges in the Islamic world. The intention is to enable the scholars to assume a leading role in the development and progress of the Islamic community.

The gathering underscores its commitment to fostering unity among Islamic scholars, transcending geopolitical boundaries. By addressing contemporary issues and seeking solutions collaboratively, the conference aspires to contribute to the positive development of the Islamic world.

As the event unfolds over the next two days, it is anticipated that the discussions and resolutions will offer valuable insights into navigating the complexities faced by the Islamic community on a global scale. (ILKHA)
