Armenia evacuates 85,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh
The Armenian government announced on Friday that it has evacuated 85,000 Armenians from the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which is now under Azerbaijani control.
The evacuation process began on September 24, and approximately 70 percent of Nagorno-Karabakh residents have now crossed into Armenia.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that there will be no Armenians left in the Nagorno-Karabakh region in the coming days.
The so-called Armenian administration in Karabakh will be dissolved as of January 1, 2024. (ILKHA)
