Kremlin condemns Armenia's decision to join Rome Statute as "extremely hostile"
In a press conference on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed strong disapproval of Armenia's recent decision to join the Rome Statute, characterizing it as "extremely hostile."
The move by Armenia means it will fall under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) based in The Hague.
Peskov emphasized that Armenia is a sovereign state, and Moscow hopes that the decision will not have a negative impact on bilateral relations.
He highlighted that Russia does not recognize the Rome Statute and is not a party to it. (ILKHA)
