Türkiye extends condolences to Iraq following tragic Mosul fire
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a formal statement expressing condolences to Iraq in the wake of a devastating fire in Mosul that claimed the lives of more than 100 people and left around 500 others injured.
In a heartfelt message, the ministry conveyed its profound sadness over the tragic incident that unfolded on the evening of September 26 in the Hamdaniye district of Mosul, Iraq.
The fire, which broke out during a wedding celebration, resulted in a significant loss of life and numerous injuries.
"We express our condolences to those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and wish condolences to their relatives and a speedy recovery to the injured," the statement read. (ILKHA)
