This will be the 8th cabinet meeting of Erdoğan's new term, and several key issues are on the agenda.

The fight against inflation, pension regulation measures and tax-free mobile phone support for young people will be the focus of today's meeting.

However, the main focus of the meeting will be the country's economic development.

Millions of pensioners are eagerly awaiting government assistance in the form of a pay raise. To address this issue, three mechanisms, including the Vice Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, are working diligently on legal regulations.

Another important point of discussion will be the provision of 10 GB of free monthly Internet and tax-free mobile phone and computer support for university students.

President Erdoğan's extensive diplomatic efforts, including meetings with world leaders during his visits to India and the United States over the past two weeks, will also be discussed.

The cabinet meeting will also review the latest developments in the regions affected by the Feb. 6 earthquake. (ILKHA)
