The ministry said that the strikes were carried out in line with Turkey's right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
The ministry said that 31 targets, including caves, shelters, and warehouses used by the PKK/KCK, were destroyed in the strikes.
The ministry emphasized that the strikes were carried out “in order to neutralize PKK/KCK and other terrorist elements; to eliminate terrorist attacks against our people and security forces from Northern Iraq and to ensure our border security.” (ILKHA)
