34 irregular migrants rescued off Turkish coast after pushback by Greece
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 34 irregular migrants who had been pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greece.
The operation took place off the coast of Datça district in Muğla, Turkish authorities said.
Upon receiving information about a group of irregular migrants stranded in a rubber boat near Datça, the Coast Guard immediately dispatched a rescue boat to the region. The dedicated efforts of the Coast Guard personnel ensured the safety and well-being of those in distress.
Following the successful rescue operation, the 34 irregular migrants were transferred to the Ula Repatriation Center, where they will undergo necessary procedures.
