Afghan Higher Education Minister meets with Islamic Fiqh Academy delegation
The Minister of Higher Education of Afghanistan, Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadim, met with a delegation from the International Islamic Fiqh Academy on Thursday.
In a statement released by the Higher Education Ministry, Minister Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadim engaged with the delegation from the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, a body associated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
During the meeting, Professor Koutoub Mustapha Sano, the Secretary of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy and head of the delegation, noted the nation's improved security situation, economic progress, and the numerous achievements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan over the past two years. He attributed these advancements to the effective leadership of Amir-ul-Momineen, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Sano also emphasized the importance of education, particularly the education of women, in the country. On behalf of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, he expressed a strong willingness to collaborate on educational initiatives in Afghanistan.
In response, Acting Minister of Higher Education Mawlavi Neda Mohammad Nadim reiterated the Islamic Emirate's commitment to providing both religious and contemporary education to its citizens. He highlighted the substantial progress that has been made in this regard, underscoring the government's ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities for all Afghan people.
The meeting signifies a cooperative approach to addressing Afghanistan's educational needs, with the government and international organizations working together to advance educational access and standards within the nation. (ILKHA)
