Magnitude 5.2 earthquake strikes Kurdamir region in Azerbaijan
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck the Kurdamir region of Azerbaijan on Sunday at 20:38 local time.
The tremor occurred at a depth of about 75 km (46 miles), the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.
The earthquake was felt in Saatli, Beylagan, Mingachevir, Yardimli and Gabala regions, according to local sources.
There have been no initial reports of damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake. (ILKHA)
