Afghanistan defense minister meets Turkish ambassador in Kabul
The Defense Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, met with the outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan, Cihad Erginay, in Kabul on Sunday.
The meeting took place in the Defense Minister's office, where they discussed Türkiye's humanitarian cooperation to Afghanistan, the strengthening of bilateral relations, and the acceleration of further economic cooperation in the future.
Mujahid expressed his appreciation for Türkiye's humanitarian cooperation to Afghanistan and called for the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The Turkish Ambassador, for his part, said that Türkiye is committed to providing humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan and to working with the new Afghan government to build a better future for the country.
The two sides also discussed the security situation in Afghanistan and the need for continued international cooperation to help the country stabilize.
The meeting was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, and both sides expressed their commitment to working together to achieve common goals. (ILKHA)
