Turkish Coast Guard rescues 59 irregular migrants pushed back by Greek forces

The 59 rescued individuals, who had been pushed back from Greek waters, have now been brought safely ashore. Their harrowing ordeal has come to an end, thanks to the swift and decisive action taken by the Turkish Coast Guard.

Simultaneously, in a separate series of operations carried out off the coasts of Izmir and Muğla, 126 additional irregular migrants were captured. These migrants will undergo necessary procedures and be transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing.
