Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns suicide attack in Pakistan
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned the suicide attack in Pakistan that killed nine soldiers and injured twenty others.
The attack took place on Thursday in the Jani Khel area of Bannu district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. A suicide bomber rammed his motorcycle into a military convoy, killing the soldiers and injuring the others.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said it "strongly condemns this heinous attack" and reiterated its "continuous support to brotherly Pakistan in its fight against terrorism."
The ministry also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The attack is the latest in a series of deadly attacks in Pakistan. In January, a suicide bomber killed more than 80 people in a mosque in the northwestern city of Peshawar. (ILKHA)
