The meeting, which transpired in the capital city of Beirut, served as a platform to reaffirm their shared commitment to the liberation of Palestine from zionist occupation.

Amir-Abdollahian reiterated Iran's steadfast support for the Palestinian people, their ongoing resistance efforts, and the overarching objective of liberating Palestine from occupation.

Notably, he emphasized the guidance provided by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who stressed the vital importance of backing the occupied West Bank, particularly in light of heightened Israeli oppression following the formation of israel's hard-right government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In response, Palestinian officials reiterated their unwavering belief that resistance remains the strategic choice for the Palestinian populace. They expressed their strong commitment to continuing resistance operations in the West Bank, underscoring it as a top priority in their struggle for self-determination.

This meeting follows a previous diplomatic exchange, where Iran hosted a delegation of officials from Gaza-based resistance movements in June. The delegation included Islamic Jihad's Secretary-General Ziad al-Nakhala and was led by Hamas' Politburo Chief, Ismail Haniyeh. (ILKHA)
