Afghan Red Crescent Society refers 24 children with cardiac disorders to hospitals for treatment
The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has referred 24 children with cardiac disorders to hospitals for treatment, according to a statement released by the charity on Wednesday.
The ailing minors have been introduced to four hospitals within the country for treatment and surgery in Kabul. The expenses for the treatment are being paid by ARCS.
This is not the first time that ARCS has helped children with heart defects. In the previous 13 months, the charity has referred 1,701 children with heart defects to different hospitals for treatment.
ARCS is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian assistance to people in need in Afghanistan. The organization's work includes providing medical care, food, shelter, and other essential services. (ILKHA)
