The visit, made possible through an invitation extended by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, also features an exciting highlight for President Erdogan – his attendance at select segments of the ongoing World Athletics Championships.

During his stay in Budapest, President Erdogan and Prime Minister Orban are slated to partake in comprehensive discussions that will span a wide array of topics. These discussions will encompass not only the multifaceted dimensions of their bilateral relations but will also delve into crucial regional and global matters of significant import.

Beyond the official schedule, Erdogan is expected to engage in sideline conversations with several distinguished counterparts. Among them is Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who will also be participating in the festive celebrations and related functions.

The diplomatic rapport between Turkey and Hungary received a notable boost in 2013 when the affiliation was formally elevated to the esteemed status of a strategic partnership. This elevation followed the establishment of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, solidifying the foundation for enhanced collaboration between the two nations.

In recent years, these robust ties have experienced a remarkable upswing across various domains, illustrating the strength and depth of their amicable relations. (ILKHA)
