Hope Caravan Foundation has kickstarted a charitable bring-and-buy sale in Gaziantep to support orphans, needy families, students, and earthquake victims.
This event, dedicated to bringing smiles and hope to the less fortunate, features an array of goods and products for sale, with all proceeds directed towards assisting those in need.
Hope Caravan Foundation’s Gaziantep Branch is well-known for its consistent efforts in providing various forms of assistance to impoverished and needy individuals within the city.
From distributing essential resources such as red meat, food, clothing, and household items, to extending both in-kind and monetary aid to thousands, their commitment to bettering the lives of the vulnerable remains steadfast.
The ongoing event, situated adjacent to the Grand Mosque in the Şahinbey District, boasts sections brimming with necessities including food, clothing, shoes, household essentials, and even wedding dowries.
Alongside these vital items, visitors can also peruse local home-cooked delicacies and an assortment of other products. The sale, which commenced today, is scheduled to run until Sunday, August 20, operating daily between 09:00 and 23:00.
Evident from its initial day, the bring-and-buy sale has garnered substantial attention and interest from the public.
Mustafa Özaslan, the head of the Hope Caravan Foundation’s Gaziantep Branch, shared his thoughts with Ilke News Agency (ILKHA), emphasizing that the entire revenue generated from the event will be dedicated to supporting struggling families and students.
Özaslan extended a warm invitation to the people of Gaziantep, urging them to partake in this benevolent endeavor.
Özaslan elaborated on the event's significance, stating: “Our bring-and-buy sale spans three days and has become an annual tradition for assisting needy families. While we employ various methods to aid those less fortunate, this event possesses a unique charm. With the generosity and support of philanthropists, we strive to deliver the sale's proceeds directly to families in need. We've also identified families to whom we will allocate the funds collected from the sale. The event attracts both those who seek to shop for the disadvantaged and those who simply enjoy shopping. It truly holds a distinctive essence.”
Addressing potential benefactors, Özaslan conveyed his wishes: “We extend our gratitude to all who contribute to our event. Through your platform, we also aim to reach those unaware of our event and encourage their participation. Our bring-and-buy sale boasts an array of products ranging from clothing and shoes to local culinary delights and cleaning supplies. Notably, our event features the rich and diverse cuisine of Gaziantep, an attraction in itself. We warmly invite all potential benefactors to experience our event firsthand.”
The foundation's bring-and-buy sale stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of compassion and community support, exemplifying the positive impact that collective efforts can yield. (ILKHA)
