Turkish forces seize large amount of ammunition in Operation Claw-Lock
The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that a large amount of ammunition was seized during search and search activities carried out in the area of Operation Claw-Lock.
The statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) said that 37,480 infantry rifle bullets, 50 hand grenades, 94 anti-tank bullets, 134 propelling cartridges, 880 machine gun cartridges, and 5 barrels of diesel oil were seized.
The statement said that the ammunition was seized in the Operation Claw-Lock region, which is located in northern Iraq. The operation is aimed at targeting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is considered a terrorist organization by Türkiye.
The seizure of the ammunition is a significant blow to the PKK, as it will deprive them of much-needed supplies. It is also a sign that the Turkish forces are making progress in their campaign against the PKK.
The statement emphasized that the ammunition was seized during "intensive and meticulous" search activities. The statement said that the Turkish forces are "determined to continue their operations until the last terrorist is neutralized."
The seizure of the ammunition is the latest in a series of successes for the Turkish forces in Operation Claw-Lock. In recent weeks, the Turkish forces have killed dozens of PKK militants and destroyed several PKK camps. (ILKHA)
