32 detained in multi-provincial operation targeting PKK's financial network
In a significant move against the financial infrastructure of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Izmir Provincial Security Directorate has apprehended 32 individuals in a comprehensive operation spanning across 14 provinces.
Led by the coordination of Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the operation focused on dismantling the intricate financial network that supports the activities of the PKK.
The detainees are alleged to have provided financial assistance to individuals linked to PKK membership, thereby contributing to the sustenance of the organization's operations.
The operation marks a decisive step in targeting the PKK's financial structure, which is crucial to its ability to carry out its activities.
Turkish security forces, working in tandem with judicial authorities, have undertaken this initiative to disrupt the financial flows that enable the organization's operations and strengthen its influence. (ILKHA)
