19 Palestinian minors held under administrative detention in jails
Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies has said that 19 Palestinian minors are currently held under administrative detention in horrific circumstances in israeli jails.
In a press statement on Saturday, the center underlined that the israeli courts have issued 2,000 administrative detention orders against Palestinian citizens, including women and children, since the beginning of the current year.
The center pointed out that 19 Palestinian minors are currently held in Ofer and Megiddo prisons under administrative detention in horrific circumstances.
Administrative detention orders were issued against Palestinian minors Hassan Sabarna, Jamal Barahmaht, Mohammed Sawalmah, Yahya al-Rimawi, Qassem Hawamdah, and Jamal Adi.
In addition, the Ofer military court extended the administrative detention orders of the Palestinian minors Mohammed Mahamid and Mohammed Salhab.
Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge and is widely used by zionist occupation regime against the Palestinians solely at the pretext that a person plans to commit a future offense. (ILKHA)
